My Story
Hi! My name is Dah Thipyothin. I'm a Professional Labor Doula that is working towards certification.
I’m a mom of 2 beautiful kids and am lucky enough to have an amazingly sweet and supportive husband. They keep me grounded as I venture out on this new journey.
Being a mom myself, I recognize the importance of having a non-judgmental continuous support system as you go through pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. It's something that we all experience differently.
As a Labor Doula, I strive to be that support system for women and their partners. I love birth and everything about it, and am so excited to serve the women in Des Moines, Iowa and surrounding areas. I look forward to educating women with evidence-based information and helping them achieve the birth experience they desire and deserve.

Working towards certification - in progress
I believe that all women should have the right to make informed, evidence-based decisions for their births.
I believe that birth is an amazing journey that women have the honor of experiencing, so every birth should be women centered.
It is your birth! As a doula, I am here to support any decision you make, to educate you with evidence-based information, to empower you to self-advocate, and to help you achieve the birth desire.
I am here for you!
